Eligibility

  • Best Designer Awards are open to interior designers and architects across Asia.

  • Submitted Best Designer projects must be located in Asia and completed between 1 January 2025 and 31 August 2026.

  • Best Brand Awards are open to home-related brands worldwide.

  • Designers and brand may submit more than one eligible project or category.

How to enter

  • Visit awards.homejournal.com and select Apply Now.

  • Choose the appropriate category.

  • Complete the online submission form.

  • Upload the required descriptions and supporting visuals.

  • Review all information and materials carefully.

  • Pay the applicable entry fee.

  • Submit your entry by 4 September 2026.

  • Late submissions will not be accepted.

Submission Language

  • All written information must be submitted in:

    • English; or

    • Bilingual English and Chinese

  • Entries submitted only in another language will not be accepted.

Originality and Visual Materials

  • All submitted work must be original. Plagiarised entries will be disqualified.

  • For Best Designer Awards, except for the AI & Conceptual Design category, rendered images and AI-generated videos are not permitted.

  • Photographs and videos must be original project materials.

  • Entrants must obtain the necessary permissions for all submitted written and visual content.

Blind Judging

  • For Best Designer Awards, to ensure impartial assessment, judging materials must not contain any company identifiers, including:

    • Company logos

    • Company or designer names

    • Addresses

    • Website URLs

    • Other identifying information

  • Please review every image, caption and document before uploading.

Information Accuracy

  • Please check the spelling and accuracy of all names, company information and project or product titles.

  • The submitted information may be reproduced on trophies, certificates and promotional materials.

Important notes

  • Entry fees are non-refundable.

  • Optional packages and refund arrangements vary between Best Designer and Best Brand Awards. Please refer to the relevant fee section.

  • Entries may be amended before the applicable submission-period deadline.

  • Entries cannot be withdrawn after the deadline.

  • Home Journal reserves the right to deduct marks, disqualify any entry or revoke an award if any submission is found to violate these guidelines or related terms and conditions.

  • Judging decisions are final and binding.

  • Submitted materials will be handled confidentially during judging.

  • By entering, participants authorise Home Journal to use the submitted materials for awards-related editorial and promotional activities.
